LB, I know for me.. it was night and day difference when sitting in the new seat. It felt like a whole new truck, no kidding. I have trouble with my knee's hurting after a long drive in these trucks... I had no trouble at all after intalling that seat. It supports your legs more tahn the older style.

Will these seats work with the tank in the cab or do you have to relocate the tank first?

Its best if you have the tank out, but the thing that it interfers with is the flip up console.

I left my tank in and had that exact seat in there. Like he mentioned, you just have to move the seat forward a little to flip the console up or down. Once the console is moved, you can move the seat back.

Tim ; the only spacer I needed was for the inner front mount for the 60 portion for the seat it was a 1 1/2 " pipe nipple ,all the other mounts met the floor and I used large washers inside the cab and the big fender washers under the truck . the Two front outer original mounting holes were also used.
If you need more info let me know .
