Is this a joke or did or was that tailgate really wrong and you didn't find it until after painting? Enquiring minds want to know.

I dig it what ever the case.

Re: What is unique about your truck?

Nothing too earth shattering. I smothed and louvered my cowl panel. There is a hidden latch set up on the back side of the panel.

I'll post a few more that might be note worthy.

Re: What is unique about your truck?

Lower dash panel that was created out of steel. We cut the bottom of the dash flat across the bottom so this panel had better flow.

Lots of things are unique on my truck, but my favorite is the "Factory" tachometer I made that matches the speedometer.

Put a gas guage in mine. Doesn't look even close as good as your tach.

Hopefully this time around it will come out a whole lot better and my welding and body skills have improved greatly. My level of patience has increased ten fold since 1981/82 when I built the truck the second time.
yeah, nothing to see there.... are you kidding?!?! you have a build thread for that one?

everything in this post is sexy. You know how sometimes you aren't that interested in particular body styles, then you see someone's truck and you think.. well maybe if I do it right, it would be awesome... that's whats happening right here.

Re: What is unique about your truck?

FiftyTwo - loving that tach. Do you have a shot of the rest of your dash showing your other gauges? Do you do speedo/gauge restos/customisation by any chance?

youngrodder - where are those a/c vents from please? spent most of last night looking at similar vents and they're pretty much exactly what I'm after. Are they all metal or is there some plastic in them?

thanks

Macksimus-

The vents are plastic and inexpensive (under $10.00 each)...They are from Vintage Air and I purchased them through Summit Racing.
