It was a Hot Rod Black, which I think is almost the same as the "Hot Rod Flatz"

He is going to paint it, since it needed rust repair and didn't want the trim on the side, etc. It is a repaint, so the color didn't buff back very well at all. Unsure on color yet.

To bad he is loosing the trim.. the trim on the 67/68 is some of the most attractive trim on a Vehicle... JMHO... Sweet Truck though...

Little update. Got the Dakota Digital VHX gauges installed into the new bezel from Fred's Truck Parts. Next up will be dropping in the column and continuing to wire it.

Re: Pro Performance : '68 SWB Build

Not too much for updates, as waiting on some parts, but made some small progress.

Exhaust manifolds on from Hooker, and drop down battery box.

Nice truck man. It looks a lot like my 67 other than I cut down a long bed and it's a GMC. And my name is Traven. Everything is almost the same just a little different lol.

I can tell already that this is going to be a nice truck. I'm liking the combination of parts you're using on this one. I'll be watching from here on.

Re: Pro Performance : '68 SWB Build

My dad made a little more progress on the front suspension, and prepping the spindles for our Revelatory brake kit. He used Por15 on the arms to match the frame, then painted the silver over that.
