Re: 1971 Cheyenne super questions

why is the question being asked. We all have heard it.what are they worth. If you look any where these trucks are fetching over 10,000.Now some of the people that ask that question are guys looking for profits not to restore.

There was a guy asking that same question on a 1968 charger RT Unless you been living under a rock that question is a stupid one.

Now I know that are new people entering this hobbie and research is not one of there strong suits.

But its really funny that come across one of the hardest trucks to find and its in one of the hardest color combos the orange and white is a hard color to come across.it seems like this truck has every thing.

I see big block 402 or some had the new 454.

But now days these trucks just on parts are worth what is being asked.

I hear there are plans now that a 1968-72 truck cab's are almost ready to be released that's 9000.00 But no cancer

Re: 1971 Cheyenne super questions

Well guys the deal has fell through on the truck supposedly there isn't a title and the guy who owned it 2 people ago can't find the title. So I'm leaving the truck alone. I can do most of the body work myself so I'm still looking for a super cheyenne. I can trade up to all 4 of my trucks for one does anyone have one for sale that isn't in Texas or california?

He's looking at $10K if his Dad does it for him! Well, it's not that bad, but:

Even before paint, assume $2K parts and supplies and $8K labor, so you've got 80 hours of labor. I don't know that a good bodyman could fix all the rust on this truck in 2 weeks. Maybe they could. But rust is expensive. It'd be far cheaper to find a less rusty truck, but it's a big block Cheyenne, so...

Fixable but not cheap unless you've got a welder and some skills of your own. Sounds like he does, but while editing this message I see the deal fell though!
