Re: Added a front spoiler. Whadyathink?

I just saw a Tahoe (late 90s-mid 2000s?) with Towhooks and driving lights in the air dam. Not what I'm looking for, but I'm sure it would meet someone's needs/wants. It looked nice with everything all molded and factory edged. It would be a great way for one to have driving lights without cutting your bumper. Sorry no picture on this one

I bought the last one from Chevrolet dealer. I think it was the 80's model.
They had a spoiler at one time had square cutouts in it.
They where for the 4x4 I think.

Mine isn't attached to the bumper at all. I have mine mounted to the frame.

After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

I found another thread where you posted....I like the idea of not attaching to the bumper. Did it look like this one?

Re: Added a front spoiler. Whadyathink?

Here's one of the fab that I did to one of the ends. I cut a pie shaped piece out of the top and bottom to get the end to fold in the way I wanted it. I took a bit of sheet metal and riveted it to the back side and the top and bottom to help hold the glue. I fabricated some clips to mount it on my truck without drilling hole. It's secure and looks good. Mission accomplished

Had to sneak one in of the engine bay. I cleaned it all up by getting rid of the brite stuff. Looks better and it's easier to keep clean

Sounds about right. I'm at work so I can't measure it right now. I will when I get home and post it tonight.

Re: Added a front spoiler. Whadyathink?

Yours looks like 4". RockAuto sells two different ones...2wd & 4wd. They don't give you the dimensions, but The 4wd looks to be taller, which makes sense.

Did you attach the dam to the bottom of the bumper or the frame?

Re: Added a front spoiler. Whadyathink?

I fabbed some clamps. The two in the middle clamp to the frame, and the one on each end just inserts into the drain hole at the front of the wheel well. This has it riding right on the back side of the bumper not below it. The V in the air dam is a little more than the bumper, but it flexes to sit right on the same line as the bumper. It actually fit and mounted easier than I thought it was going to, so that was a plus.
