Gas Prices?

Just ordered 300 gallons LP delivered $2.90 a gallon.
I was expecting a lot more so happy with that.

I remember those lines. (sort of) My buddy had a big Winnebago motorhome that held something like 100 gallons of gas. I would follow him and wait behind him in my truck for something like 2 hours. We would sit in line in the motorhome and play cards, drink beer, and get completely sh*t faced. By the time we actually got to the pump we didn't care what it cost.

He would fill up the Winnebago and then syphon the gas out of it for his Datsun truck and his wife's Celica to avoid waiting in line.

I had another friend that switched the license plates on his cars when they did that thing where you could only get gas depending on whether your plates had an odd or an even number at the end. He had both and just moved them around.

It was pretty crazy what you had to do to get a tank of gas.

I was pumping gas 1979 going to college. Had odd even days and they wanted you to check to see if the car was below 1/2 tank . Ya like I was going to tell someone after waiting a hour or so in line they couldnt get gas because they had over 1/2 a tank.

I was very popular at the time I always had a full tank and could get gas in a pinch . I had a car that got great milage too a 1972 240z it was pretty quick and still clicked off 24 mpg on the highway It was already starting to rot away and the heat was pretty much non existent.

I'm going over to my moms later next week . The motor home is full of diesel about 125 gallons and my daughter may need some in a week or two for heat and hot water .

At that price it would cost 5000k to heat for the winter . Average she uses is 900 to 1000 and then it goes way down because then it's only heating domestic water

51 gallons of tanks. I have to run premium when I'm towing the trailer. $300+ if I let all tanks get dry.

My brother sent me this the other day. Yes, it is a station in remote Death valley Cali. None the less already at $10 gal fuel prices here. Never thought it would happen in my lifetime.

They all know and have been warned, again, about price gouging. There will be some prosecuted for it but not near enough. There aren't enough available jail cells. Greedy sum beeeeees!

Yes, that station is known for higher prices usually around +$2.00. little less than + $3.00 now. Paid $5.85 for regular two days ago local and it seems to be rising almost daily. Will not be long until it is there here local.

4.49 out here where I am at most stations. The real question is, Will we ever see $2 gal gas again?

Chevron is way out of control at 4.89 for Regular. They are always higher than the other stations no matter what the price is set.

regular gas is $4.33 today here in Indy
