Re: Project 78 High Sierra

Well internet is out so no pics but I managed to get the cd player installed..

I have a problwm though.....The windshield is leaking in the drivers side corner and into the cab...its a brand new windshield and gaske..... Do I need to put sealant under the gasket to fix this or is that a bad idea?

First pick is a comparison of before and after 320 grit sandning

The Cab bands have been sanded with 320 grit, then 1000 grit to brighten them up.

Then I painted the black stripes red...Painted the red in the logo and made the GMC black....

Would you do just the corner where it leaks or around the whole window?

Re: Project 78 High Sierra

I would start with the problem area. That will most likely be the end of it.

I painted the back of the cab and front of the bed with a roller but not the whole truck....

I will mix the paint with paint thinner and spray it with my paint gun....Gonna have to do some testing first since this i gonna be a first
