One quick tip, thought. Eventually one day you are going to get caught in the rain. I guarantee you. What you should do is make a little tub for the amps to sit in. Or put a 1/8 spacer underr them so they arent on the ground... A very small amount of water will hurt those things...
I put some 1/4 inch rubber grommets underneath the amps before I bolted them down.

You driving it to the show?
no, I'm going to trailer it to Newport. Ron 586 has an enclosed that he's going to let me borrow. I'd like to drive it, but just don't have enough miles on it to trust it yet. In fact the brand new Dolphin electronic speedometer says 1 mile

Re: Project Topless 365/24/7

I've made a few upgrades of my own(scratches), so it's not that nice anymore . Anybody that truly knows me knows that I'll (fill in blank) it up the longer I tinker with it.

I got a real nice big one on the dash. I'm thinking of leaving it there just as a reminder of my dumbarse. It'll be a conversation piece.

Re: Project Topless 365/24/7

Got the pinstripping done today. A gentlemen by the name of Rick Harris, who Jason recommended, came by and did the blazer. He was very price friendly and did an awesome job.

http://www.rickharrispinstriping.com/

Rick learned from a guy names Shaky Jake, who Von Dutch taught to pinstripe.

Hey, I heard I missed you at the shop the other day.

Those stripes look awesome. The name Rick Harris sounds very familiar.

Re: Project Topless 365/24/7

Here you go guys. We took it to the Chevy/GMC Truckin' Nats in Newport, TN this weekend. I took first place in the "unfinished" category. Not sure how that happened. It's not unfinished. The only thing I have to do is build my console. The rest of the board members there made the joke that it's probably because it's a flat color and they thought it was primer.

Also took "Best Engineered" which I am most proud of.

You better hurry up...he's already scratched it with a dremel, dropped it off the jack stands, and ran into a truck with it...if you wait too long it'll be totalled
