Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
Question for you Kabwe. When your removed the driprails along the backside of the truck did you have a small bump where the butt welds were? Also now that your are doing the bodywork are you using alittle filler where you did most of your butt welds? What kind of filler are you using? Last but not least, when you welded in the dash along that front sill did you cut the plate that holds the windshield wiper blade motor?

Filler- I use duraglass over welded seams and rage everywhere else also on top of the duraglass if needed. 55 Dash - Yes but I will not be running windshield wipers. Last edited by Kabwe; 01-13-2012 at 09:20 PM. |

One piece electric windows. Sorry I don't know the car I don't hang out like I use to. I use to hang out at the Home Depot in Inglewood but it is just not what it use to be. It seems its becoming a ghost town since Ricky and Ronnies closed down I use to love that place on Friday nights.

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
Do you have any current pictures of your firewall? Very interested in the side portions to see how you tied it all together?

Man I called you a couple of times and you never returned my call. I chalked it up to you being a butt head so I did not call anymore. Yeah the wheels are ordered and paid for so now its a waiting game and don't ask about the cost they were expensive at least with my budget. You only live once as far as we know right.lol Last edited by Kabwe; 03-16-2012 at 11:41 AM. |

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
Man I finally got the sectioned hood in primer. It was a lot of hammer and dolly work but here it is.
I'm still blocking the fenders. They are coming out nice the are pretty straight. Here is a pic of them in primer I will be blocking them more. Last edited by Kabwe; 04-15-2012 at 12:57 PM. |

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build
Man when it comes to body work, your the man! I have spent hours an hours working on a stock rear fender and i thought to myself some people shouldn't do body work! ( me) and then i see people like your self that make it look easy, and i know it's NOT. That came out great Kabwe.
