LOL thanks George...And thanks everyone else....Its getting very close to being done.....And No gold paint for me....Simple and Clean is what I have tried to do through out this whole build...And I think a gold stripe would take away from that...

Re: project (sweet pea)

Well I am past due for an update. So here goes.....Recently I sent an Email to Als Liner....being that I am broke I asked in the email If they sponsored trucks....Sent them a link to Sweet Pea's Build thread, and waited. 2 days later I received a call from Dana Mitchell....He is the closest dealer to me . We talked about what I wanted and needed to get this thing done....Not only did he supply me with everything needed to do my Bedliner but there was some other parts that I needed to make this thing a driver( carpet)..Dana seemed to understand what I was going through. And said he was on board to help get Sweet Pea finished.....Two days later Everything showed up...I am not really sure on who he knows , but the man has connections.....Basically as of right now Sweet Pea is Sponsored by Al's Liner....So the quest to get Sweet Pea done for a GoodGuys Event was on....I had roughly 3 days to spray the bedliner.(thanks Dana)..Install the carpet ( thanks Dana) and My Wife and my Mother Re-covered my seat for an early fathers day gift...(my mother makes custom furniture, drapes pillows that kinda stuff.) Late Friday night June 11th Sweet Pea was made road worthy.....And Early Saturday I headed to Good Guys Indy...With a Pre-Paid entrance ticket in hand( thanks Dana).I was basically asked to Park any where and just enjoy the show....All the while ,answering a few questions on the ease of the bedliners applications and how it works...... I cant say enough about Dana and what a great guy he is...And people like him are great for our sport....So in its self . Here are a few pictures.....

Re: project (sweet pea)

The basic kit is around 150.00 which includes the gun, 1 gallon of material and everything else <hardners ,primers...Everything...1 gallon would do a short bed easily . and still be thick....I used 2 gallons simply because thats what they gave me and I told them I was going to nail it....and really lay in on there.....I am hoping Dana will become a member and he could better explain how much on one really need...I am hoping he will also become a site Vendor....He will, Awesome freaking guy.....
