Re: Swapped PCV & gained big time!
No problem guys!!! It's totally my pleasure to help out. This forum has so many kind people willing to lend their expertise to help out others. I'm glad I could lend a little help for some folks.
I'm ordering mine on friday. I'll report back with my experience installing up the pcv valve and the results I get. I still need to check my timing numbers and my battery is shot. I'll also be buying a new timing light and a battery on friday. Fun stuff |

Re: Swapped PCV & gained big time!
Yeah thanks, Barbara said yesterday that this thread has already resulted in several orders so I suspect we even had a few lurkers jump on board too, which is great. Mines already on the way. My first one still works great. The truck idles like a sewing machine. Looking forward to what you guys think of yours. Please do post your results.

Re: Swapped PCV & gained big time!
I ordered mine today. I have a few things I need to do before I install it(new battery, dial in timing). I'll report back after I get it installed and let everyone know how it's working.

Re: Swapped PCV & gained big time!
After reading this link and hearing from ones that I know have them I'm not thinking it will do much for a stock engine. If I'm wrong then please say so and make references to info on it on stock engines.
From everything I have found it's for the engines with a bigger than stock cam to get the vacuum back to where it needs to be.

Re: Swapped PCV & gained big time!
Just replace my PCV with a stock one and it makes a tremendous difference in idle and running quality. Had the dang thing sitting for 6 months.
I will be ordering one of these in the future. Last edited by toolboxchev; 11-07-2019 at 03:00 AM. |

Re: Swapped PCV & gained big time!
I've been putting off the Wagner PCV swap for ages because of the $$. Good to hear this. Guess it's about time. Thanks for posting.

Re: Swapped PCV & gained big time!
Hi All! I recieved mine in the mail a few days ago. I had to order a new grommet for the valve cover. My previous dressup PCV valve's(posted below) grommet was a little bit bigger then what's needed for this application. I still need a dial back timing light and battery. I'm hoping to be up and running by the end of the month

Re: Swapped PCV & gained big time!
OK, I contacted Wagner to try to jump into another group buy nothing going on right now- they seem to be very flexible to deal with- I have a few feelers out on other sites. Email Barbara and give her my email to get started on a head count.
http://mewagner.com/?page_id=1927 davefarr1967@gmail.com Dave, Sorry, no group buys at the present time. You only need six so do some posting or ask around. We will let you know if any group buys take place in the near future. Barbara Wagner Customer Service M/E Wagner Performance Products barbara.wagner@mewagner.com www.mewagner.com 570-899-4544 |
