i still vote round tube frame...thats just too cool!
I was seriously contemplating that. For ease or building the frame as well as ease on my pocket book.

Re: Intoducing "Project...Oooh Weee!"

I think a square tube frame w/ round crossmembers etc.. looks pretty nice when done ,1badsvt's build is a perfect example of it & it sure would be easier to work with

Re: Intoducing "Project...Oooh Weee!"

Okay, spoke to Nate about an hour ago and we decided to make the rear C4 Dropmember out of round tubing. He also made another good point... to make the main frame rails out of 2x4 square tubing with round center bracing to match the front and rear Dropmembers. The round center bracing will be similar to what he did on Old Aux. What do you guys think of that? I will post pics of the rear C4 Dropmember when it's finished and I receive it.

Something wicked this way comes. Just in the mockup stages right now. More to come later. Decided to go with something custom. Trust me, it's gonna be sick.

Thanks bro, I figured I'll try something a bit different. I don't think there a too many tube chassis's out there using 3 tubes. I've seen a many of 2 tubes, but not 3.

Yeah, the HRE's are gonna be sick. Wait until you see the rear of this chassis. I"ll wait until the frame progress before I let the cat out of the bag.

Re: Intoducing "Project...Oooh Weee!"

Wassup guys? Thanks for thinking of me. Makes me feel all mushy and cuddly inside. LOL!! But for real, for real, I've been very busy. Three big things have happened.

First!!!!!!! Had another son, my third boy. He is now 3 and a half months old. Second, I had to build a detach garage to keep my truck and Chevelle in. That took all my truck money because I didn't borrow any money from the bank...paid cash for it.

Re: Intoducing "Project...Oooh Weee!"

And third...I do have a small truck update. I got my wheels in. HRE 948R, 3-piece wheels. 22x10 fronts and 22x12 rear. Brushed, clear powdercoared centers with polished lips.

Thanks! Probably won't be able to get back on the truck until later this year.
