hey barn, that first red caddi that you posted, what year is that? 60? i know a guy with one close to that, has the big wings on the fenders, but its painted hot pink and shoots flames out of the pipes. not some pussssy flash flames, but it has a seperate tank for flames, it lights the concrete on fire.

Here's a few pics of a 72 Monte I was restoring. I don't know if you would call it "huge" but it was almost as long as my truck. I had to sell because I needed cash for the truck. Man I miss that car.

Not really a big car but my other toy/project:
It is a 1984 Hurst Olds with T-tops currently undergoing a frame off resto-modification. Picture of the interior with factory Hurst Lightning Rod shifter.

I'd give my left nut for a marauder.
and that wagon was at norwalk this year...all I know is that it's got an OLDS 468 running somewhere over 10.5:1 compression. That's a naturally aspirated motor. Judging weight on that car might be kinda hard, but my 83 delta 88 is about 3800 lbs, so figure that wagon weighs about 4,000 lbs.

Being a betting man I would say that the wagon is hydraulics rather then torque. Look at the front and rear wheels and the wheel well gaps. he is using the 3 wheel action. Definitely hydraulics.

uh, no. i can admit when other brands have a good product. crown vics, if they werent so ugly, are awesome. the marauder is a good looking crown vic, i saw an all black one with 17's (maybe the stock wheels?) and it was sweeeeeet. what does chevy make that looks as good as the ford 500 that has 4 doors and a v8? that malibu wagon thing is cool, but still. go drive a new chevy impala, then a grand marquis or vic, i dont think you can even compare the two.

sorry bud, you're wrong. I watched it launch at norwalk, it really launches like that, with no hydros. You really think there would be someone dumb enough to race a car on 3 wheels if it runs 10's? Think about it.
BTW, I've never seen anything other than oldsmobiles that are able to flex the chassis that much. The owner said he'd probably get it worked out for this race season.

the stock wheels on those marauders are 17 or 18 (can't remember which) 5 spoke wheels. They've also got chrome tipped exhausts. IMO, those things are like james bond, a whole bunch of whoopass wearing a 3 piece suit and bowtie to the party.
