Re: 60-66 Patina's or O.G. Painted Truck Pics

Actually not a whole lot of patina on my interior or dash but it did come with the obligatory stickers! I keep thinking I'll scrape off the little horny devil but it adds character to the dash

OG - Original Gangster - ie, a survivor, i like to call them Hoodrides, but that is a term from the Aircooled VW scene. A hoodride looks like a rustbucket on the outside, is slammed, and generally pretty clean under the hood and in the suspension.

As defined earlier in the thread. I was confused about what OG (original gangster) had to do with these trucks also.

Your welcome .... and Thanks !!!

It's about time I "bust out" with it soon...

I picked it up a while ago, outta town, and it's been inside.

I'm actually gonna bring it home (seems like I get more stuff done at home, then in my shop )

I think I'm just gonna rebuilt the OG Powerglide for now and get it going (save the 700R4 conversion and all the expenses associated) for later.

I miss driving an old truck .... BAD !!

Chief, that thing appears to be slated for a "haircut" of sorts, judging by those tape lines...

jocko,
I didn't exactly have an easy time getting it. Had to jump through plenty of hoops before it was "officially" mine. But given it's condition, it was all worth it.
