It came out really nice. Yes i brushed it on which is time consumin. It could be better in areas where it has some runs but it still looks great. I couldn't believe that brushing it on could dry and look so smooth.

....what kind of brush did you use? Was a gallon enough? What other prep work was done prior to brushing it on??....Thanks for any info!

I used the 2 brushes that came in the kit and they lost a lot of brissles. I bout a couple of cheap 2 in brushes at home depot that worked much better. Actually all I used was a quart, It seemed to just keep going and going. I had bought 2 quarts to do it but I still have the rear end and spindles to do. The parts that have been painted were sandblasted the rest will be wire wheeled or sanded.

Well in the last few weeks got the rear end all in and mounted up and got the fron suspension hung and the steering linkage in loose right now. I will get some pics up here in a day or 2

Well progress has been slow but i did manage to get the cab back on the frame now to start replaceing the rotted panels and bodywork on the cab. Fun Fun

I have the driver side rocker cut off and most of the inner rocker and still have to do the final triming the start marking the replacement panels and trim them to fit right. I will try to get some pics up soon.

Well I havent updated this in awhile but I have the 5.3 done with the cam swap and have it all ready to go in. I just have to get the motor mounts finished lined up and it will be in. i will get pics soon

Wow didn't realize its been sooo long without an update. I found out my brake lines were wrong for the front and ordered some more. I am finally back to do some work on it again. Been busy with life but finally am able to work on the old girl again. ow I need to go take some pics

which motor mounts are you using? are you able to use the oem/stock a/c compressor with those mounts?

I painted my 5.3 a few weeks ago. looks like i went same color scheme as you. looks good.

are you happy with your Griffin ls radiator?
