It's not as low as my suburban was but it's pretty low. It's just some chopped coils.

Re: 69 Panel build up

thanks, we cut the coils. I know it's not the best method but it's cost effective.

Exhaust was cut off, but I still have plenty of clearance if it was still there. The coils were heated once so they were pretty jacked up. I cut about 1.5 rings out to get it down but due to the coils being messed up I don't know how much that info will help

Re: 69 Panel build up

Here she is before the motor went in, I was headed to a GMFS members house to use his plasma to cut out the 3 speed tranny cross member so the auto would fit.

I've been so busy recently I havent had time to do much work on the panel but the big block is in, the TH400 trans is in, had a new drive shaft cut for the truck, and I got an aluminum radiator to replace the single row. I finally got the new motor mounts, headers, HEI distributor, edelbrock intake and carb. It feels nice to be on the home stretch of this motor swap, just need some plug wires, electrical, and a fuel pump and she should be ready to drive!

Here's the new motor in place and the truck back on the ground
