sure do, we've actually traded a few parts off. cuz i have a black lifted '01 chevy similar to his thats my DD

Hah, what a small world! I remember him tellin me about your truck, Its a black ex-cab with a 6 inch lift right? I believe thats what we were talkin bout. We went to highschool together and used to run around quite alot. Anyways, good lookin truck, what are your plans for the body?

yessir thats me! im going to tow the truck today im gonna get some pictures of them both an put them up here. but i plan on keeping the body mostly stock minus the mirrors and emblems. one piece windows and a solid back glass. paint it dark metallic silver and probably keep the grille it has, just painted flat black (still dunno about that) and a sport bumper for the rear (i hate rollpans on these bodystyles). a decent drop like a 4/6 or so. 15x10 front/ 15x10 black old school 8 spoke wheels. im workin to get id drivable before i get into all that tho haha

tell ya what, I was over at TKO scrapyard in tyler yesterday, off the loop, and they have quite a few sport bumpers, I have a friend who sells parts off these things too, very clean interiors, seats, sheetmetal, etc. just holler at me if you need any help finding anything or just wrenching on it.

sweet man i appreciate it! im sure ill be gettin in touch with ya cuz there are a good many parts i still need. im a lil tight on money now so im just focusing on drivetrain and cleaning up 30 years of funk lol.

I hear that, ive got an 83 SWB, an 81 stepside SWB and an 84 parts truck that has good interior if you need any parts just ask, I have abunch of parts for these trucks. My newest addition is an 84 k-5 blazer with an 8 inch lift and 38.5 super swampers, im building a 350 to put in it right now.

i do need alot of interior parts, all my instrument cluster had been hacked to hell. but i have new bucket seats and all the sheetmetal is in exceptional shape. that sounds so badass tho i wanna see it! i really wanna do a 4 or 6BT K5 or K10/20 build one day. may end up doin that to the '01 tho in the far future

I looked into a 4bt swap, seems simple enough its just fairly expensive to buy the motor. I picked my blazer up for 600 dollars with a very clean body, lift, tires, lockers, but no motor and a trash interior. that was right after i sold my other stock 84 k-5 with a rotted out body and nice interior for 1500! what kind of interior parts do ya need?

yeah them motors are fairly high. thats why i decided to go with a 6.0 for this truck. plus i think its just as cool. i personally dont know of anyone with one around here. thats wicked tho i hope ill be able to find a deal like that!
i need the gauge bezel, instrument cluster (hopefully one with a tach, or swap in a tach and small fuel gauge. mines cut to hell tho. im gonna use an electronic speedo from a late suburban tho). a center console, and i guess thats about it the gauges is the main thing. my dash is cracked but who's isnt so im just gonna order a brand new one. oh and i need alot of the A/C ducting and various parts. for some reason alot of mine was missing and duct taped up.

ive got the ac ducting and some gauge clusters, im not sure if i have a bezel but i can get you one... I saw a few consoles in the junkyard yesterday...if you want the gauge cluster and ac vents ill take some taco bell in trade lol

No they did not work on mine. Passenger side hit my front shackel and driver side did same. Also had slight shifter problem. They may work better on 2wd truck. What trans you planing on using?
