it's a shield that is sold to stealth the filter. It fits up under the 14" filter cover edge.

I'm wondering about clearances, inner and outer (obviously not worried about a problem...) would like to see inner and outer pic's...

I have the set of 295/65-15's MT ET streets that fit good. (picture #56)
I could still go a little wider though.
