Re: Show off your Wheels
Thanks very much Jim!
I mentioned somewhere before I originally bought them for my old '46 Chevy truck but sold it before I ever got the chance. They sat in my garage a year & half and my '55 just happened to already have the 5x4.75 pattern so I lucked out. The sidewalls are too tall - makes it look like the cartoon cars in "Roger Rabbit" but for now they're ok...and waay cheap.

There were Japanese knockoffs, Ansens, a whole bunch of companies and shops like Pep Boys had some of those companies making a version for them to sell. Mine have no identification at all, which I find odd.

There are a ZILLION different wheels and tires you could use. What is the "Theme" of your truck? "Resto rod", early hot rod, slammed mod, "work truck", what is your theme? If you keep every nut and bolt on the truck following a theme it is always easy to figure out what you want to do, and personally I think the car or truck is always more special when a theme is followed on every nut and bolt. Re: Show off your Wheels
Pro1955, Man your truck is great looking. I love the Coys on it. If I ever upgrade from my 15's it'll be to 17" or 18" Coys for sure.

Re: Show off your Wheels
15x8" Wheelsmith smoothies with their repop hubcaps & glamor rings. Wider white 255/70 BFG T/A radials from Diamondback. Had to use air shocks in rear as the 1970 C10 12-bolt is a bit wider than stock. No problems with front clearance though using the stock 6-bolt setup.

Re: Show off your Wheels
I have always loved your wheels. My wallet didn't love them as much as I did so I ended up with the chrome 15's from Wheelsmiths.
