Hopefully you will be out of paint jail soon!!!
I forgot abut the ECM to control the fans. Its to late to have the sensor removed from the order as I received confirmation they shipped it out yesterday

Re: 71 4X4 Frame off Restoration

Well you may not want to even use it.... possibly can send it back. I am also setting up the stock A/C sensor so my ECM knows the A/C is on and will operate/adjust the idle and turn on cooling fans.
I will be uploading the file I tuned possibly starting mine tomorrow.

The big brown truck stopped at my house this afternoon just as I pulled up to my house with some bling for my truck. My Dakota Digital gages arrived and very cool.

Re: 71 4X4 Frame off Restoration

So no 2nd color this week. I did get my garage cleaned out last Friday. Also been thinking about seat & door panel material and color. I might go with Vinyl Doeskin or possibly Black.

I have 2 sets of door panels to work with. I'm thinking about having them covered with vinyl so the modifications for the power window and door lock controls don't show but I have not thought much about it until I get my truck back.

I hear you but I have been thinking about the interior more and more!!! I don't plan to have a door lock button inside since I only have 2 doors, but I will have keyless entry with a key fob.
I believe you will need it with the crewy....unless you have long arms!!!hahaha

Re: 71 4X4 Frame off Restoration

After a month and half waiting for paint to be finished I finally got a hold of Anthony today and he said he is closing down his shop at the end of the year. so I asked him when is a good day to pick up my truck so I can have someone else complete the work and he asked me to give him until September 20 so I said okay. 2 and half week finished or not I will pick up my truck.
