Truck looks fantastic! Can't wait to get started on mine again. Maybe sometime in February after I get settled into my new house.

When I first saw your build I thought it would be slammed lower. I love the way it has turned out. Perfect stance.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

Truck is awesome in person! That bed wood is amazing. Makes me want to give mine more attention. Beautiful day for a cruise out that way. Even though we took a wrong turn haha. If you've ever drove around in this part of the world, you know there is like 3 115, 117, and 166's. Ate at a cool Ma and Pop place in Lynn and stopped to look at a cool old F*rd. Thank you again for the tailgate! I'll post pics of the project as it goes.

Re: Newbie with a 65 Chevy

Took the truck to a friend's house about 30 miles away. Runs good down the highway but idles rough had to swap some wires on the o2 sensors. The sensors I had were female plugs and I need male. Still need a few more short trips before I get to far from home.

Thanks Chad. No I finished the metal smooth so I could just paint it instead of using the bezels. I like the clean look it gives. Plus it is a little different.
