Job well done, great color combo with the strip, wheels and interior.

on the exhaust I personally use the race magnum, the diameter of the pipe makes a difference on the sound and where the exhaust exit.

Definitely Mar-K, they make their own stuff and its great. Crisp edges on the ends and exact lengths. I have them send mine with all the clips being the screw on nut style, not fond of the pop-in spring clips.

Man, what a great job on your truck… I'd be very proud driving around in that beauty.

Thank Duallly, I think it came together in the end! I went with 18" oval, may be a little too quiet but I can't step on it yet. Goes to the tuners Monday

Re: Mesquite 1966 C10 - LS3 W/Air Ride

Been busy but haven't posted much. Exhaust is on and sounds good, still haven't dropped the hammer yet.

Drove it 40 miles round trip to the tuners with no problems.

I have the supercharger heat exchanger on the inside of the radiator because that is the only place it will fit. Tuners said it would not work as temps were too high and ECM was actually backing off timing. So I have ordered a smaller heat exchanger that will fit in front of the a/c and will move fan back to the inside which is better anyway.

Always something but still progress!

Re: Mesquite 1966 C10 - LS3 W/Air Ride

That makes sense. I wonder if it would also work if you left them in place as they are now but just closed any gap between radiator and exchanger And had a nice, strong puller fan that would do the trick? I just don't know if that scenario would Yield hotter intake temps when the fan is not running?

Re: Mesquite 1966 C10 - LS3 W/Air Ride

Intake was pretty much matching the radiator temp which was 190deg which is to hot. It should cut it in half if the outside air is 95 then 95 deg air should be going across the heat exchanger not 190.

They sent me accessories for a corvette and that thing is 24" wide. Tuners say they have seem much smaller heat exchangers work just fine. I have a 16" x 14" coming.

Re: Mesquite 1966 C10 - LS3 W/Air Ride

Ok, got everything moved and went for a test drive. This was the first time I've activated the SC and OH BABY!

I only got to 3500rpm but the sound and the feeling of being planted in the seat was awesome!

Back to the tuners next week for WOT Tuning.

Re: Mesquite 1966 C10 - LS3 W/Air Ride

Just got a call from the tuners, truck is ready - NO ISSUES

As I delivered her she was rich and 534hp, 504 Torque

Tuned to still a little on the rich side, which is what I asked for 574hp, 531 Torque to the rear wheels

3rd gear on the dyno at 6,500rpm was 115mph!!!

Very excited to pick her up this afternoon

That would be sweet, won't be so noticeable once the stereo is all in and I don't drive it trying to find something wrong!

It's only noticeable while making slow turn like in a parking lot.
