Re: Project "Tiffany"

Some cool shots I got of Tiff at Goodguys in Nashville!

I love this detail around the Hill's Rod and Custom inner fenders! Keith shared his experience with me to make this area look so clean! Super nice work!

Re: Project "Tiffany"

Keith, I heard you say in one post that you were doing your bed raise on this one different. Do you have any pictures of how you did it this time. It's about time someone like you puts a good "How To Do A BedRaise" on this board. Love what you've done with Tiffany! Any plans to go to Columbus or Indy Goodguys?

The biggest change was how I mounted the bed to the frame after raising the bed floor. I built a front and rear "box" to set the bed on and this has worked out much better than what I did on the last truck.

Sorry, no plans to go to Indy or Columbus this year....

I used 3m Extreme cut compound (06060) with a wool pad followed by 3M swirl remover with a foam pad. Hope this helps you.

Re: Project "Tiffany"

Do I put the compound and swirl remover directly on the paint or on the pads?

The one I've had for the last 12 years or so is a Milwaukee 5460, it's a real work horse of a buffer.

Re: Project "Tiffany"

Keith is currently having some issues posting pics on the board.
So he he gave me the go-ahead to post these pics,
I will let him "fill in the blanks" about what is going on,

These are his SUPER cool new T-shirts.
I definitely want a couple of these!

Re: Project "Tiffany"

I'm going to do a pre-order so I know about what to order. This is the name of my new little company I'm starting and if these sell I'm going to do another with Tiffany.
