Re: Gas Prices?

Still above the $4 mark here. Paid $4.24 for 87 octane corn squeezins yesterday. Ready for it but not sure when or if we will break the $4 mark. I know it sure doesn't go down as fast as it goes up,

Re: Gas Prices?

It was only 1 tankful, so I will have to test it again, but I only lost 1/2 MPG with that 88 octane stuff. The higher ethanol content is "supposed to" get lower mileage, but the effect is not as dramatic as they would have you believe, at least in this first test.
I ran it really low and wasn't near a place to get it again, so back to 87 for this tankful. $3.89

Do NOT argue with your wife or pretty soon you'll be arguing with her attorney. Take my word on that one.

I yell at the TV too. I don't watch TV but my wife turns it on and it annoys me and then I yell and it annoys her.

I'm looking for that $1.78 that it was when this mess started.

Re: Gas Prices?

So now that gas is going down, how about everything else that went up due to "factoring in" higher fuel costs?

Don't look for that to happen soon if at all Tim. Seems once prices go up they don't come down in the way a sane normal person would think would happen. Don't think the smaller packaging of things at the higher prices will change either. Once again Mr. & Mrs. America gets hosed by big business.
