Re: How about some pics of bagged 47-59

My 53 suburban I'm putting together. About ready to put the body back on my completed detailed frame. Tucking 20's in the picture. Might go with 22's.

Not sure man. I had an entire build thread about the bagging part haha. Went pretty well actually. Got about 400 miles on it so far. The only issue I seem to be having is an error in the e-level setup. Accuair isn't getting back to me

About a foot - the most I could and still have the fenders fit between the stake pockets. You can't tell from that pic but I increased the width of the bed about a foot to push the fenders out to clear the tires too.

Re: How about some pics of bagged 47-59

Here’s a photo of my “Norma Jean.” It’s a 54’ and I bought it from my neighbor who had it in his family since it was new. Heidt’s IFS, 4 wheel disc brakes, 4” C notch, 525 HP built 6.0L/4L80E, Holley Terminator X Max, Ford 9”, 3:73 gears, and more.

Named her "Rona" since I built her during Covid out of boredom.

'52 LS swap, 4L60e, 9" rear, 4-link, Accuair VU-4, buckets, single piece windshield (hate), PS, PB, elec fan, OEM brass radiator, rear gas tank, C-6 gas rump/reg setup, Thrust 18/20 wheel setup, widened rear fenders

And a scale model for more fun

Nice truck!
Why do you hate the one piece windshield?

Guessing the visibility across the bend. I understand that is creates quite a distortion of your view.

Yes the bend creates a distortion, its not horrible but its there. Plus I like the look of the two piece.
