I would love to go an extra inch all the way around to really set off the looks but I think it will be a mistake for as much as I drive the truck. It rides really nice right now and I have only scrubbed the inner fenders once on a big freeway bump and only hit the axel on the frame twice going over train tracks.

Not to mention I am going to add LT headers and I think I will end up dragging the collectors.
This is EXACTLY the look I'm looking for, where did you get your wheels, any problem with theback space & what offset did you go with? awesome truck

Do you have any more pics? You can email them to me if you want. grcoontz@comcast.net

Also could you PM me where you ordered your parts from? I am going to buy the exact same stuff you have an I want to get it from the same place so no chance of getting it wrong...(yes, I like it that much..)

Thanks

Hey therapy, how much drop is this in the front and rear? You mentioned spindles and springs up front but didn't say how much each was. I really like the looks of your truck!

Do you have any other pics of your truck by chance? I would love to see the front and rear suspension up close.

Great job!

I dont have any suspension pics..Has 2 inch spindles,2 inch springs with a coil cut.. Rear is a flip kit I believe that is like 5 and then the over load removed placed on top to dearch the spring to give it even more drop. Has drop shocks on all 4 corners and and a min c in the rear frame rails..This is now my Daily/Project cause I got rid of the other square got a 50 model and now got rid of that.....Im now in the process of buying everything to bag the daily grind..

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

Here's my heap. 4.5"/6" with the extra weight up front

205/70/15 (too small IMO)
255/70/15

I just put them together for rollers right now. I have 20" Billet Specialties Dagger's on the way in a few weeks and thinking I might go lower eventually / before I finish it. The back would look lower with the steps on.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

Here's my 68, it is what I assume to be a 4/6 static drop with 28-inch 235/75-15 tires on it. I bought it like this and have no details other than it has 2' drop spindles on the front. I am seriously considering going up to a 2/4 drop because the mean streets of Houston make this thing ride like HELL! The angles of the shocks and the drop make the shocks almost useless. Anyone know of any drop shocks that actually work well-enough for me to keep my drop? I hope the picture attaches, no gurantees.

Sorry, POS photo sharing website won't give me a link to my photos of my truck!
Why does it have to be so hard?

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

IMO - dropped spindles wouldn't make it ride rough, but if the rear shocks are in the factory location it definitely would. ECE offers shock relocation brackets for the rear that could probably help a bunch.

Re: How about some pics of Static Dropped C-10's

I finally did some research and realized that the stock rear shock locations are useless with a 6" drop. I will be taking care of that soon. So this relates to the thread: If you drop the rear, relocate the shock mounts making sure that the shocks fit the application. An adjustable track bar is nice to have too. How many people with large rear drops have an adjustable rear track bar?
Is it mounted to the swingarm or the stock position?
OK, Trying to post pics of my 4/6 drop.
