Re: how about some laid out longbeds

Can anybody clarify what's better for the longbed? A 3-link or 4-link setup?

Will just be a lay-n-play truck but need to be able to tow a payload.

You have any pics of the suspension or rear end? Also, those look like 22's?

Nice-n-clean. Is there any reason why you didn't go lower? Looks good as-is, just curious.

Thanks. I didn't want to hack the frame too bad and replace the crossmembers. It is a more road worthy vehicle since I did keep it relatively stock.

Hehe....yep. The paint don't make it fast!! I am running a 66 Vette 327 with "camelhump heads". It's balanced and blueprinted. The cam is a little bigger than an RV cam. The intake is a 70' LT1 alluminum "bowtie-snowflake", and also roller rockers. Should be pushin around 375hp when all is said and done. Here is a little clip of it runnin.

Haha, I wish that truck was mine. I drive a stock '73 with 15,000 original miles on the clock. Some days I think about cutting it up, then other days I think it's too much of a survivor.

Anyway............... here are some more laid out longbeds to keep this thread alive

Slick67: What cam do you have in your 327? "A little bigger than an RV cam" is a little vague!
