Re: Let's see some interior pics of 73 to 87's?

Here is the minimal but still in the works interior of my K5 Blazer/trail rig project as well. Not going to be anything crazy by no means, just clean and functional.

DA'd the dash pad that was stolen out of another parts crew cab I had laying around and hit it with aerosol bedliner to which was then hit with a couple coats of Olive Drab green. Cleaned it up and made it much less of an issue to maintain I hope.

Build thread on it as well...

Re: Let's see some interior pics of 73 to 87's?

Nice interiors guys! I'll try to get my 76 cleaned out and snap a before pic. I'm planning on going brown seats and 2 tone the panels but not sure with what color yet. Tan maybe?

J Knight - that is a beautiful interior! Are those seat covers repros? If so, how do you like them and where did you get them?

Thanks man, the seat covers are black velour high back from LMC. So far so good, they have only been in there a few months, we will see how long they last because I drive it daily.

These are the other interior pieces I got from LMC.
gauge bezel
dash insert
a/c vents
door panels
window/lock switches
door handle bezels
arm rests
console
carpet
sill plates

It's an altimeter. Used to go up to the mountains around Yosemite alot to go fishing.... Guess it doesn't really serve much of a purpose now...

Re: Let's see some interior pics of 73 to 87's?

here's the interior of my 83, function over fashion but it don't look too bad for finding everything in 6 different trucks at 3 different salvage yards,

before swapping the 70's door panels

I think they are only offered with the entire gauge bezel from LMC.

Re: Let's see some interior pics of 73 to 87's?

Here's mine. The door panels appear to have been replaced by the PO, but the rest is pretty much 100% stock. Still in pretty good shape for being over 30 years old and used daily.

Very nice guys!

Devulsion, I think I may have to try that bed liner treatment too. That turned out way better than I was expecting to see!

I think it was the Dominion sure seal? I'd have to go look next time I remember. I've used it alot on a few projects. Even used it on the custom bed and headboard I built for my son. It turned out pretty cool! And durable as all hell. Has a nice fine and even texture to it, doesn't look like splattered brains everywhere.
