Very nice build! Love the time you're taking to smooth things like the frame, c-notch, calipers, and master! That was the plan for a build that never finished for me. Have the smoothed 350 engine to prove it

Re: In the beginning there was a 69 party (eyebrows up)

Re-installed the gas tank, hopefully for the last time. Waiting on my air ride brackets to be plated and need to pick up new hardware for the shocks and pan-hard rod, so the chassis will be done here very soon. Picked up some stainless fuel line the other day but still need to grab connectors. Man the tank looks sooo much better with the frame all clean.

The rockers don't seem to be that bad but, theres a ton of cleaning to do before I really start evaluating how deep this goes.

Thanks man I appreciate it! My favorite thing about looking at cars at shows is noticing all the little things that take forever to do and unique ideas that people put into their rides. Basically now that I have my chance, I'm building something I want to look at! Hahaha! Looking forward to seeing that NOS restro done.

Just go to town on them with some high speeds. Slow and easy to keep the heat down and stay out of the rubber! That sounded better in my head...

Just some of those small sanding discs for the high speed and a small 60grit flapper wheel for inner part of the big hole on the top of the calipers. I originally polished the first one all the way out. Didn't like the way it looked. It was very same ol' same ol'. So I went back with the sanding discs and left the grind lines on them. I liked it better.

Some high temp clear on the calipers would be cool.

The calipers were finished and cleared in Jan. There are some pics on the first page I think of them after clear. The lines stood out more after clear.

No mods to the rear. Just an axle swap from 6 lug to 5. The mod part I guess was I special ordered these wheels from American Racing to get the BS/offset I wanted for that "tucked" look. The tires I "really wanted" were 345/45/17... (stock tire size for the Viper a few years ago) retarded huge and would still fit a 11" rim, but they had been on back order for well over a year now. Not a big demand for them I guess.
