Re: SALE!!!! Bucket seats you pick covers sale

Great looking seats.

I would like to purchase your best, refinished set of seats for my 71 chevy. I prefer all new foam.

I need the brackets and console as well.

I like the exact style and look and want the black color of the set in your first pic.

I will pay in full upon your reply and I will wait as long as it takes if you need to wait for anything in order to put this together.

So please PM me the details and payment info and I will send a money order.

Thanks.

Dan.

I have a very nice set of frames without rust that have good original foam, but I can purchase new foam and replace if preferred. Of course, the new foam itself costs around 500 shipped. Would you want the frames left factory or painted? Do you want the true truck brackets or prefer blazer flip forward? And on the brackets the only original I have had weld repair on the bottom edge. However I can supply a new reproduction for the same cost. On the console, do you want an original seatbelt console restored, or prefer a newer cupholder console or one of the custom billet cupholder consoles? Let me know and I will price accordingly and send payment info via pm. I will have to order the foam and covers which will likely take 3-4 weeks to arrive. I have everything else here.

Re: SALE!!!! Bucket seats you pick covers sale

That came from someone that owes you an apology. I was assuming you would answer the PM. I was checking the board rather than the email. Guess that's what I get for assuming. I should have been checking them both. You did exactly what I ask from you. That was all my fault. You've always helped me out. I'm sorry, for jumping so quick, before checking my email. I realize I'm not the only person on here that's needing some seats. Looks like I could use a break. Again Jonathan, I'm sorry for jumping so quick.

Re: SALE!!!! Bucket seats you pick covers sale

PM recieved.

Please PM me a price for:

New Foam
I do not care if the frames are painted I can have that done here.

Blazer flip forward brackets.

I do not mind the weld repair on the original frame but I prefer strength and functionality over any other priority.

I like the console that is shown in Pic #1 of this post. its black with cupholders.

I understand this will take some time and I am ordering it early to avoid having to wait for it. Please include shipping to 95662. Thank You.

Dan

Re: SALE!!!! Bucket seats you pick covers sale

working on pm now. Want to keep everything in the open (per forum rules) so there are no questions later.

For my current best set of seat frames/springs with new foam and new black scroll 71-72 pattern covers 975+500 for foam= 1475. This will include the driver's side slider set of brackets and a passenger blazer tilt forward style.

For a console restored in black with the billet cupholder option 475.

So 1475 + 475 + shipping (200)= 2150 total shipped with $1950 worth of insurance.

I am finally getting to pick the seats up tomorrow afternoon. The upholstery guy I used has been in and out of the hospital since I dropped the seats off with him. He promised me today they'd be ready by tomorrow afternoon. After I get them I'll go Monday or Tuesday to my local paint supplier to color match the seats so I can paint the console. I have looked at and purchased several different cans but none were a good match for the dark saddle. They are going to scan and color match some SEM paint for me. Going to cost me about $60 more than I planned in the paint materials but I'll eat the cost because of the delays.

Re: SALE!!!! Bucket seats you pick covers sale

Here's my current collection of buckets...not counting widowlane's whose seats are still at the shop....he mistakenly did another set for a local guy first before his....
Also have a couple more sets on the way courtesy of board members Truckseats and soon from doubleb's69

Re: SALE!!!! Bucket seats you pick covers sale

Parchment set was for the local guy, and the two black sets are sold.

Here's something I wanted to point out. I had been getting all my covers from PUI which I thought were really nice and heard that from several people....however, board vendor Truckseats sells covers that are even nicer. The vinyl on them is the top grade vinyl sold according to my upholstery guy....and they use a double stitched seam as seen in these pictures....

Also notice how well defined the scroll pattern is....

...they do run about 75 more than I can get the PUI covers for, so they will add $75 to the cost if you want these in lieu of the PUI ones...but they are very nice!!!

Yes, I have one set out of the packages (CSM sold them to me and put them in vacuum bags but I opened them up to look at them. there's some extra glue on a couple which I've seen before) 125 shipped for that set

And a set in the packages for 175 shipped

Re: SALE!!!! Bucket seats you pick covers sale

Johnathan -- any Sandalwood buckets sitting around?? Hint ..

X2 on the covers from Truckseats. I have them on my buckets for my 68 and they are super nice. I bought them from Jonathan too. You'd be hard pressed to find, re-cover, and pay labor on buckets for what Jonathan is putting them together for. Yes, I'm sure he makes a little off them but he puts a ton of work in them too ! I would buy another set, no question.

Thanks!

I don't have any nice ones in Sandalwood but I can always make a pair

As far as profits...it's not much after counting my gas picking up from greyhound, taking to the upholstery shop, picking up, and taking to fedex. Almost not worth it to be honest once you figure that in so there's going to be a price increase coming unless I find some really cheap sets....

I'm trying to justify the price increase by now blasting the seat brackets and painting them and painting the seat frames....but that adds another 60 or so in expense also and 2-3 hours time...
