I bought a 16 gauge 1 5/8 u-bend exhaust pipe from jegs. One pipe will do
both rear corners. Just cut them in half to make them j-bends.lol

Now see here, if the truck was finished you could use it to pick up the tile and plumbing supplies, get it done quicker... Think she would buy that?

Yeah, yeah just because you say so does not make it true.

Hey Guys,

I had a little me time and I went out and finished my fuel lines in the rear.

Corvette filter/regulator installed

Modified the tank a little for the in-tank fuel pump and lines.

Bam,
Sorry to be a PITA (but hey, ya gotta be what you're good at! Lol) Can you post the part number of your Tanks, Inc. tank? Or if you don't have that give us the dimensions? Rear fill? So your cap will be behind the license plate or where? I'd planned on trying to find a tank like Chuck Driver's (JJ's) with the bed fill until I saw yours.

Dan I have basically the same tank as ChuckDriver the only difference is mine is setup for EFI. Both or Tank Inc tanks. I guess I was misunderstood when I said rear fill I just meant that filler cap was on the rear of the tank and not on the side. I will making my bed wood flip open so that I can fill the tank you will not see the filler. Heres a link to my tank.

Re: Kabwe's aka Bam's build

Well since I have not posted pics in a while I thought I should no matter how small the mod is. I knew I had to raise my bed floor 2 inches due to my c-notches. I looking in metal yard for some scrape tubing and I could not find anything I liked, I decided to make some my own 2 inch spacers. I try to keep things simple it makes my life easier. Of course I will have to move the angle strips on the bed up 2 inches so that bed sits in the same spot as factory.

I will use the bolt to hold the washers in place and then weld it together.

Here is one of the spacers completed. I will need six of them for the three cross sills.

It will lay on the frame (I'm undecided if I will weld them to the frame or not) Its not structural so it really does not make a difference, but I am leaning towards welding them.

Here are some misc pics of the 4 link reinstalled with the fuel and brake lines.

Really like the way the frame looks, nice job. I agree on welding to frame, one less thing to line up when installing bed for the final time...Jim
