Well, after a bunch of hemming and hawing, the suspension decision has been made. I sold the SV1000 this past weekend and put the money toward a PB touring front and NL coilover rear (with some minor personal tweaks--great vendors both!). Planning on using the Ridetech single adjustable "HQ" series on all four corners.

This plan will put me at (or near) my current ride height, but with hopefully improved steering, handling, and ride quality. It should also leave room to adjust down approximately another inch, if I decide later that I want to be lower ...and I can always do a PB body drop if I just gotta have that extra .75". For now, we'll see just how easy of a "bolt-on" these will be

Very nice truck I love this build. When you changed to the longer Dorman wheel studs did you end up having to use a longer or deeper lug nut. Thanks.
I'm in the same boat with my Boss 338 and rear disc I'm getting about 5-6 turns to tite.

Thanks! Same lug nuts, though I did have to enlarge the holes in the axle to fit the studs.

I'm going to follow this upgrade closely. It sounds very similar to what I "think" I may want to do to my truck. I would love to do these exact upgrades to my truck.

I don't mind being the guinea pig--hopefully it turns out like I have it in my brain. Overall, the cost is comparable to buying a full Hotchkis setup, with the benefit of height adjustability (to a degree). Adjustable shocks, tube arms, and rack could be considered upgrades above what the Hotchkis kit offers.

Ideally, this is a bolt-in affair, with little 'custom' work required. For me, I know going in I'll have to do some exhaust work to get around the new panhard and I may end up shortening my steering column (not required, personal preference). Unknown possibles include driveshaft, H-pipe, cooling fan, high-hump, and pretty much everything else.

Thanks for taking the time! Nice trucks are out there, keep looking. I waited a long time to get mine--always wanted one. I've had this one now almost 12 years and it has changed a lot in that time. Not done yet, stay tuned!

It looks to be really well done--very simple and sanitary. I'm not a big fan of the ducktail, but to each his own...

Stance-wise, I just confirmed order of a level 2, version 7, coilover DM (instead of the mild I was originally planning on), which should get me adjustable between 6 and 7" under the front cab mount (I'm at about 7.5" now)
