If you look at the last truck in post #30, it shows a long bed w/short bed style mount (high). Which looks equally good in my opinion. Post #38 shows the high/low mount very good.

One other thing I've noticed is the repops have a lower cut out. I have also found a "rare" passenger side mount. I have never seen or found any documentation for a passenger side cut out fender. And the fender does not have the edges where the wheel tub was welded in. This appears to be a custom done fender, not "rare", so just beware that you don't get price gouged on a part that probably doesn't exist from the factory. Research what your buying so that you don't get the short end of the stick. Not saying its not functional or look good, just some "for what its worth" if you want oem/nos parts.

Found a carrier on ebay...not mine, may help someone whos looking. Looks like the side mounts have been replaced, but the carrier is correct.

Looks like its for a long bed.

Looks like its currently set for a long bed, but the side brackets could easily be fabbed to make it work on a short bed. The carrier just has to sit higher for the short bed.

longbed stepside slammed to the ground sick. My first vehicle was a 64 shortbed but when I bought it as a complete project it had a 68-72 stepside bed. Later i changed it to a 55-66 stepper and then to a fleetside. But steppers short or long are very cool.
