Re: 1984 C10 parting out*

How about the sway bar brakets that are bolted to the frame - if they are not too rusted.

Re: 1984 C10 parting out*

I'd like to keep the sway bar and brackets as a package...there is just surface rust on them...scuff and paint and their good...I'll sell the package for $100 plus shipping...thanks...

and I'll get pictures up soon of the steering wheel and door panels...

Chuck.

Re: 1984 C10 parting out*

here's pictures of the door panels...like I said they are complete besides the straps and the trim behind the straps...they are in very good shape...there are a couple of areas that need attention though...the tops of the door panels are faded..there is no dry rot or anything like that...a can SEM color coat and these will look like new...I planned on color coating them and selling them for more, but I didn't get around to it...the pockets, cloth inserts, and armrests are all in very good condition...the window felts at the top of the doors are there and in tact...one has a tear on it, but they are in fair condition...as you can see in the pictures of the back of the door panels, all the prongs and nuts are intact and there are no cracks in the door panels...the lower door panels are 100% restorable...the chrome on the top of the carpet is in excellent condition as are the vents...you can take them to an upholstery shop and they can put new carpet on these and they will be brand new...I manage an upholstery shop so I have a little experience with this...
door panels stripped are $40 set
armrests $10 set
pockets $10 set
lower carpet panels $10 set
power window and door lock switches $10
I'll sell the upper and lower door panels as is in a package deal for $60...that's 25% off
if it'll sweeten the deal, I'll strip the upper door panels down, clean and colorcoat them the original color and reassemble them for free...if you buy the whole package
if you don't want the door panels whole, we can start taking stuff off of them...

Pic 1 - door panels
Pic 2 - driver's upper and lower door panel
Pic 3 - passenger's upper and lower door panel
Pic 4 - damage to driver's carpet
Pic 5 - top of driver's door panel where it's faded

I'd be interested in the arm rests pending shipping cost to 08753.

Thanks.

Re: 1984 C10 parting out*

here's some better pictures of the hood and cowl panel...as you can see in the second picture, the cowl panel has a hole for an antenna...don't understand this because there's an antenna in the windshield...in the last picture you can see that there is no hole in the cowl of my crewcab...I will sell the crewcab cowl panel in place of the green one in the second pic if you don't want the antenna hole...thanks...

Maybe I missed it, but did you list a price for the cab? I am in need of a complete cab.

Re: 1984 C10 parting out*

the cab is already stripped, but the price is $400...there's some pics on page 5...the cab doesn't come with the doors...there is only one spot of surface rust in the cab and that's where the heater core leaked I think...it's on the passenger floor board...you can see it in the pics...there's NO rust or dents Anywhere else.... thanks...just let me know what you decide

Re: 1984 C10 parting out*

These are some pics of the bed...the scratch on the passenger side is just a scratch...it goes through the paint, but there is no dent or crease there...looks like someone keyed the truck...and although there's a sticker on the driver's side that says 4x4, it is not......there are some holes in the bed rails from a tool box or bed rails or something...the front panel is straight as a board...and the bed floor is very straight with only a few minor dings...I can get some more pics inside if you'd like...I just need to clean the bed out...I took pictures down the sides so you could see how straight it is...there is a dent up near the bed rails on the back side of the driver's side...it's not anything major...thanks for looking...

Chuck.
