Tell me, are there any other drive accessories that will be used? Just wondering about the serp belt setup with the reverse drive WP. It doesn't look like much belt would be touching the pulley.

would you happen to have the part # on those radiator core support bushing... mine are energy suspension just like yours but my radiator core support ones look more like the cab one, a lot thicker than yours and they set my support up to high

Yes. We are waiting for the power steering pump to arrive, along with the under dash A/C system, which will have a polished top mount a/c compressor to mount to the motor. Once we back everything off as far as tension goes on the different accessories, and get the correct belt, everything should make good contact. But until we get everything on there...i guess we'll see. I'll let you know if I have any problems though.

We got the whole cab mount kit. If you bought the whole kit, mine are probably the same as yours. I had a friend just throw those on there before we took pictures of the frame to show we had red bushings. So I dont even know if the ones in the picture actually go there. But once I bolt them in, I'll shoot you over the number thats on my bushing for that spot.

Hey guys...sorry I have been lagging on updating the build. Alot has been going on these past couple weeks, along with a great tragedy. Let me start off with telling you guys that story.

A couple of the units where my shop is located caught fire last week, and really set me back. We lost our power, our phone, internet connections, and our water supply. We just got our phone and internet working late last night, and just got our water back on. One of the affected units was a close friend of mine's shop, and he was actually the guy who's going to be doing the body work and primering on the c20.

The fire started at the unit next to his. The guy who owns that unit had dumped some hot coals into a trash can out of his bbq which he used earlier that day Then he closed up shop and took off to run errands. By the time we realized the inside of his unit was on fire, it was too late. And by the time the fire dept. showed up, the fire had jumped over to my buddies unit, and the unit next to his. Ironic thing is my buddies unit got the most damage, not the guys unit who started it. And the saddest part is my buddy was out picking up parts, and his dog was inside the unit when it burnt down. I had tried to kick down the door and rescue the dog, but by the time I got over there, it was a ragging inferno! My buddy lost almost everything! He also had a customers brand new 2009 Infinity G37 coupe inside. We spent the rest of the day and into the early morning trying to go through his shop and salvage what was still worth keeping. Not much!

I will be starting a paypal account for donations if any of you are interested in donating any money to help him get back on his feet. Anything you can give helps! there's power in numbers, and we all appreciate anything!

The reason the whole firewall is cut out is because the owner and I both agree'd that instead of filling in the holes on the factory wall, and tapering the two sections like most people do, cutting it all out and making a new one out of one solid smooth piece will look much cleaner. It was definately worth the work I think. And once everything is put together, I think it will really bring out the cleanliness of the trucks lines and what we have done to smooth out some of the factory edges. *if that makes sense at all*







If you look at the center tranny tunnel section, on the right side, the factory sheetmetal comes out and has a flat square looking section which totally throws off the clean, and symetrical look of the custom firewall. So we decided that we would cut that section out, and smooth it to look like the left side.

We also had to cut the lower right side of the trans tunnel and reshape it so that the radius isn't boxy from the flat section we removed. All in all, I think it came out pretty good, and it really goes with the totally smooth firewall.

Patched up the rusted cab corners as well as welded on the new lower rocker panels:

Customer dropped off the polished power steering pump and Zoops bracket, so we put that on the engine.


I'll have more pictures posted up this weekend for you all to see. Next major thing thats getting started this week is the fitment and graphing of that 1955 Chevy dash into the cab. Should be TONS of fun!

Hey guys, Updated pictures will be up today.

We finally got all the rusted spots on the floor patched up, ground down, and we seam sealed everything.

Also finished shaving all the un-used holes, and the whole glove box section on the 55 chevy dash. Came out great! Only need a skim coat of filler to even everything out. today were test fitting it into the cab, and deciding what were going to do to taper the dash into the tops of the doors.

We also got the inside of the cab and back of firewall all line-x'd for sound deading.
