No offence taken guys, i don't like it either and will be removing it. I'm thinking ill remove the bracket as well and run it bare. Thanks for the input!

I LIKE the canteen. If I had your truck with that paint finish I'd definitely leave the spare fender/bracket because the finishes match and either do what you did OR find another Torq Thrust for it.
The canteen "goes with" the patina (man, I hate that word). Maybe letter a sign on it but I'd leave it. YMMV.
