Re: Parting 67 GMC CST V6

I'm bugging you about the alternator and mounts again

I had a small electrical fire today and I'm ready to upgrade....

Is this an internally regulated model? If not I will need that too.

Thanks!

Sorry to hear about the fire... Pics below, should be externally regulated. Do you need the harness as well? $30 shipped for the brackets and $50 for the perfect front harness.

Im trying to find out if it will fit the 12 bolt I have already. If it fits it I think Ill keep it. Sorry! If I find it doesn't fit Ill certainly sell it. We will come to an agreement on the price.

I just found a box of stuff that came with my parts V6s and found alternator brackets. When I bought them the guys helped me load up stuff and I didn't realize I had them. Sorry to waste your time...

Re: Parting 67 GMC CST V6

has anyone spoken for the throttle linkage? i need the set up from the top of the petal on the engine side of the firewall to the carb. I have a 68 with a 305 that is "cobbed". it appears that there should be a rod connecting to a swivel on the top of the motor then another rod or 2 to the throttle. I couldnt say for sure. if its anything like my 292 its all rods and swivels.
PM me with info as my email notifications are bouncing.
Thanks

Spent an hour looking for markings. Ran out of light. I'll look some more tomorrow.
Road trip out and grab it. Bring a trailer and get some swb beds too.

Re: Parting 67 GMC CST V6

It says:
RFI GUIDON
Kokomo, Indiana
Something , Kansas
It's an architectural firm, I think.
I looked it up and it's a company sticker the previous owner worked at I guess. Not a manufacturers mark.
Being from Indiana, there is a lot of boats and bed toppers made up north near Goshen. Maybe member screen name...Dave will have some insight on it.
It's really pretty cool. There is a gun rack that's appropriate for the era divided on the d/s and a custom fishing pole rack on the p/s.
I'll get a few pics tomorrow.

Re: Parting 67 GMC CST V6

It has crank out windows in the front on the sides and the rear side window is solid. Kind of a neat look. I like the authentic look of the one you posted. This one is fiberglass. It kind of reminds me of FARMTRUCK, if you've seen it before.

Mike, good to hear from you! That topper looks like about several kinds that were made around that time. However, the first thought I had was that it could be a Eagle topper as they've been in business over 40 years. The mfg facility is in Plymouth, not far from Goshen. I'd like to see more pics when you get a chance.
Thanks, talk to ya later.
Dave.
