It's been a long time coming! Start tear down in late Jan. and it was at the paint shop for a long long time! Good deal on the paint so I could not really complain too much.

Re: Budget Buster 68 C10 swb fleetside

10 months! But I sold my 2007 SS Silverado to do this build which left me and my wife with only one car since then! Well, I do have my Chevelle but won't drive it daily. It is a weekend or special cruise night car.

Re: Budget Buster 68 C10 swb fleetside

Well this week the headliner and carpet have been installed as well as the amps and new custom built kick panels with Arc Audio Speakers. Need to build exhaust and waiting on the A/C lines and fittings to complete the whole truck! Have the seat back and it is ready to go back in as soon as we get the stereo system complete. Sub box being built right now so the seat out makes it a little easier. I will post pictures today.

R1,
Wheels are from Raceline and I think they cost me around $2200 shipped. 22x10 and 20x8.5

Haven't had a chance to take any new pictures yet. Got the carpet and headliner installed last week and the seat is all done and ready to go in but waiting for the stereo work to be completed first. Jeremy Miranda is building the new 3" exhaust as of today so I would guess it will be driveable tomorrow or Wednesday! We also got the air gauges and controls installed and working! Jeremy made a panel to house the gauges and controls and it was installed where the stock radio went and we installed the new radio where the stock A/C controls were.

Re: Budget Buster 68 C10 swb fleetside

OK, OK. Here's a few pictures. Exhaust will be done tomorrow but you will see the cats, stainless Magna Flow mufflers and 3" aluminized pipe. Also, you will see the Air Pressure gauges with blue LED lights mounted in a custom panel and installed in the stock radio location. Radio is going where the stock AC controls were mounted. Things are really tight under my truck using the 3" pipe!

Re: Budget Buster 68 C10 swb fleetside

OK! So I have been really busy lately and not had time to get on the site and do an update.
My truck is almost done! Actually drove it yesterday! Got it back from the Dyno Tuner. It made 380 H.P. and 371 lb. feet at the rear wheels. Drove it over and had it aligned and then back to the shop. Thing runs really good. Still having some issues with the idling though. Just got to finish adjusting the one piece windows, install the door panels and bleed the brakes again, adjust the shifter linkage and my T-Stat has a little leak that I have to fix. It will be done this week!
