Re: 67-72 Time Capsules

Closest I ever got was a 25k mile '48 Chevy 1 ton I sold to get my '72 & a '86 IROCZ I sold to my friend in '99 that had 42k at the time and now only has 44k.

Re: 67-72 Time Capsules

Here's a truck I'm trying to get from my work... I can't buy it from them so I have to contact the company that buys from us. 832 miles on it and it would make an awesome doner for a 4 wheel drive C-50. 292 and all I'd use everything.

Re: 67-72 Time Capsules

Weber Motor sold it twice. Once the to the original owner and then to my Dad after the PO traded it in on something new in '84.

Joe, I don't know how you find these things. Nice one! You must have a warehouse somewhere... I know they're not all gonna fit in that garage.

I can't believe I just stumbled on this thread. Maybe I just like OEM, this is as good as it gets as far as I'm concerned.

Here's my 69 GMC 910 survivor. Excuse the later hubcaps. I have 5 originals, but they are the painted ones.

Is that the original steering wheel?

Re: 67-72 Time Capsules

I just picked it up. Some minor paint touch ups. But its it's an unmolested survivor. 1968 with 68k on her. Undersidehas some minor surface rust. Only bad spot is the right side of the hood and the inner wheel housing under the battery. My guess is acid vapor from the battery. I found the 4th hubcap in the ammo box . Along with the original Jack. First truck i bought that the steering wheel s warn but isn't cracked.

Thanks for posting photos. Longbed 3/4 ton stepsides remind us of how pickup trucks used to look like, a look that has practically disappeared from the landscape, IMO, it makes them more special in modern times.
