I learned a discouraging lesson not long after I started this thread.
Post your pics using this and they will remain as long as these forums exist:

Those were my work pants. My school pants were corduroy.
The 65 is my grandpa's. My uncle still has it.

Boring doc about tabacco, BUT, on nicely restored film from British Pathe. Stay with me... incredible trucks in it.

Was watching a rerun of Matlock last night and saw this broken down truck on the side of the road.

See that ford in the background?
Back when my dad and I were shopping for my first vehicle (1982), my dad wanted me to get one of those. I don't know why, but he was really trying to get me to like that truck. I really wanted a 67-72. I ended up with my 65.

My first car was an 82. But it was 18 years old when I got it.

Re: Nostalgia - Pics in Time.

The first picture is one we have all seen, but this has more background then I recall seeing ...

The second two photos were borrowed from the "MCKINSTRY PHOTO COLLECTION" on the HAMB - some photos taken on the dragstrip in the 60s....

From the second photo: I used to race here in Michigan with a gentleman named "Bob Snow". By then he was "Grampa Snow", running a Willys called "Willy do it". His son, also Bob, was also running a car by then (a T bucket). They were from Marlette Michigan.
