Those Anderson connectors are what I want to use. Have a fitting under the hood, and then craft up jumper cables that plug into it.
You're saying race car, but when I see those, I think forklift.

The downside is, as you said Jeff, you need to carry a set of jump leads with the Anderson connectors. My solution to that is to have another set of leads with the opposite Anderson connector on so, plug them together and you have a standard set of jump leads.
Yes, I know it is more stuff to carry about but... It makes me happy! P.

update: Up to 800 miles and got it on the rollers yesterday. About 650 on E85. Oil pressure was a little low so I'm replacing the pump this winter and we will see if I can push it a little more. I can confirm that 650 is MORE than enough! |
