It was just the way the stock column was cut down and a 1" round to 3/4 dd joint was modified and used !! I already pulled all the stuf out !!

Finally getting around to finishing the quarter panel {had to cut out and redo a previous repair job} Also stoked my new steering column should be here tomorrow along with my new universal joints !!

so new column showed up waiting on a universal joint to get here and swap out the columns !!also going to run a 1965 impala steering wheel !!

I was originally going to chop it 2.5" but with the section it already cramped feeling and the seats lowered !

Yeah ! I need a more family sized car I found a original owner 1966 galaxy station wagon that is super nice original I'm going to pick up and bag , wheel swap and get the roof flaked car has the original bill of sale dealer info , a lot of options including tow package ! I have a newborn and a 5 and 9 year old so car shows are goin to be a whole family deal from now on !

Totally understand. I love wagons. Just a word of advice.....try to find a wagon that is as nice and as complete as you can afford. The reason why I say this is that parts for wagons can be almost impossible to find, and lots of the aftermarket restoration parts places do not make many parts, especially the interior stuff. Wagons were pretty unique, and almost everything from the front seat to the rear bumper is different than the other models and won't interchange.

I LOVE the old '62-'64 Country Squires with the woodgrain sides. I'm a hard-core Chevy guy, but those are on my Ford Bucket List.
