Re: Project "5th try"

It's gone. Looking for a driver now. Not much time to work on them right now.

Maybe?

I've still got several parts for whatever I find. buddy buckets, tach dash, rallys, 68 chrome hubcaps, etc.

Re: Project "5th try"

Congrats on the sale! I'm curious if you got $8,000 for this project? Just like to know what projects like this are selling for. And I've been looking at that '67. Looks like a pretty cool truck.

yeah 8k for the roller. No motor/trans. Basicially how its shown with a few boxs of stock parts and new carpet/mats. Honestly its right at what I had invested into it. The bed was included, but in peices. It was listed for sale for at least 6 months and I really didn't think it would sale for what I had to have back out of it.

It was in peices as well. The new owner showed up early saturday morning and spent about 3 hours putting the front clip back on and finishing the windsheild install. It still needed a long list of parts. Fuel and brake lines, the firewall still needed bodyworked and painted. the bed needed assy'd and painted.

The green backs look nice but I would still be sad... I guess. Good luck on your search for a driver.

yeah. I hated to see it go, but I didn't have the time or resources to get it completed in a timley mannor and I've had no time to work on it, so I'd rather see it go to somone who can finish it.

I blame women mostly.....

Nice truck! I like the rear suspension set-up a lot. So is the new owner a board member? I know where half of an anniversary short fleet bed is.

Yeah. He's the one that posted up a few posts inquiring if it was for sale. You might shoot him a pm. He might be interested.
