My '86 crew cab truck. Spent the entirety of her life in Seattle aside from NY now. Unfortunately NY is no place for a truck this large. |

I like the fuel filler mod. I'm planning the same on my CCSWB.

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Crew Cabs Part II
Heres my project.
83 Crew cab dually Diesel Currently it has a fairly fresh Crate motor 6.5 with a banks Sidewinder kit on it. Previous owner put a small intercooler on it. Has RV front seats. Body is pretty strait had a few things here and there but nothing to bad. I added new tires and rubber the old ones were shot! Got a hell of a deal on the KMC's Plans: Have a 12 valve im gonna swap into it. Porterbuilt suspension all the way around. Accuair. Redo interior. Repaint it. Doing work!

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Crew Cabs Part II
This thread is discriminating against 88-91 R/V series crewcabs, but I'll post mine anyway..
Here's my 79 C2500 earning it's keep bringing home it's new big brother V3500. Towed it like a champ, just over 14,000 pounds all together at the scales. Felt stable at 100 km/h and the little stock 350 didn't even have a problem maintaining that speed. Love my crewcabs!!!

Re: How about some pics of '73-'87 Crew Cabs Part II
That was my original plan but now I want a 4x4 (originally from Iowa) for my vet truck. Earl here will be my nice weather hauler (camper, horses) and we have another 80s crew cab that will hopefully be a diesel and 4x4 conversion.

thanks guys. They are alcan/ORD 52 inch fronts about 3 inch front and 4 in the rear... have a cummins that will make its way into it when i have all the parts together, so the front will come down a bit more.

Thanks. Ya I was hoping for 17's also just no selection of decent wheels wide enough to safely run a big tire...
