Re: Parting 72 Cheyenne Super

Did you have remove a plastic nut from the inside of the cab at the passenger side firewall? I tried to turn the nut and it and a plastic stud (I guess) broke off.

It doesn't look like removing that part involved that plastic nut. Am I wrong.

sorry for not knowing what it is I'm even looking for.

67RS/SSx2, On the patch panel for the dash, I'm not planning to part the cab, but there is a pretty good chance Randy (teeitup) has that piece

Re: Parting 72 Cheyenne Super

nubomb, I think this is the plastic piece you are wanting, this one broke when I tried to remove it. Let me know if you still have intrest. Thanks, Greg

On the removal, look at my pic of the door. The pin on the right side is spring loaded, pull that back, then work it out of the cowl.

As for the names of the parts, dont worry. I have found the people on this board are always willing to help. We'll get you what you need. Thanks, Greg

I'll pass on the fresh air door. It looks like mine is likely fine. I just need to figure out that plastic nut.
