Re: 1967 Stepside Tangelo AKA Shorty Doo Wop

We all have our own likes and dislikes, but good truck guys can appreciate the work that anyone puts into their project. I'm normally a 60-66 guy, but this project is, hands down, my favorite 67-72 truck EVER! I've owned a '70 stepside that I really liked, but always shied away from the slant nose, even though I was born in '67 and would really like to have one from the year I was born. I could definitely see myself owning one like yours.

Serious accolades to you for your vision on this one. I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. I was blown away by seeing it in person at the Git Down! Great Job!

I know everybody always uses the line "the pic's do not do it justice" and the pic's look good, but in this case, you really have to see this truck in person!!! Sam one beautiful survivor, 1 of my 3 favorites at Dino's show!!!!

Renee, thanks for the compliment and kind words. A lot of work goes in these trucks behind the scenes as we all know but when guys like the ones on this forum give you a compliment it makes it ALL worth it! Fo real!

Re: 1967 Stepside Tangelo AKA Shorty Doo Wop

Had a great time at the "Git Down" friday night. Then met fro breakfast with the boys and cruised to Good Guys on Sat. There is some video floating around of Tangelo cruising on the freeway but I have not got my hands on it yet.

enjoy

The camper is gone, took the truck on the Autocross and lost it on the first turn. Now Dino owes me some $$$ for knocking the hut off.

Did you use spacers in the rear? I saw you used 295's in the back, but I've never seen a set of smoothies that didn't look like they needed less backspacing. Yours look perfect.
