I havent done anything on the truck. My son and I made a platform bed for him and his girlfriend. He found one on amazon and it was made out of particle board. Some of the reviews showed it getting broken during shipping so we decided to just make one using cabinet grade wood instead. Its up on buckets for painting.

No squeaking. lol.

I had plans to get my hinges on before my son went back to Murfreesboro but my friends daughter was killed in a boating accident on the 29th and the past week has been awful. I was a pallbearer for her and it made me think, my son was the same age as her. It can happen at any time.

I did do a little on the hinge install. I got the hinge mounts in and ready to cut my slot but I ran out of discs for my dremel tool. I'll get some tomorrow.

I got the slots cut out and the hinges installed. I located where the plates go on the hood and removed the paint in that area. I painted the rear of the plates so they wouldn't be just bare metal when they're welded on.

My compressors drain petcock decided to take a dump so I'll have to get another and install it. Somethings always breaking.
