He is referring to the underside if the trailing arm. The 3/4 tons came from the factory with plates under the trailing arms.

Digging into the front end of GoldFinger. first thing first, get the front sheet metal off and expose the frame . More pictures to come today.

Re: Goldfinger nachos big brother

Here we go... dug into the front end yesterday... every thing is looking good any rust is limited to just surface. its a good day when every bolt comes out with no issues... i also took part of the day to work on finishing up the 67 GMC and go hunting for parts for Cheap Trick. yeah my day is full with several builds.... I know you all want pictures updates , I'm working on it. all the front sheet metal is off now for the motor to be pulled......

Re: Goldfinger nachos big brother

Finally an update!!!!! sorry for the delay in updating. you know how it goes.... just supper busy with several projects landing on my plate at once. now i'm back at it . I have a ton of parts and GoldFinger is back on track.... By the way every thing you see on this motor was either second hand reconditioned from Craigs List or from other projects like Cheap Trick. Eric thanks for that box of parts , see how nice they cleaned up. GoldFinger is going to be fine............. Remember it all about building it on a budget that anyone can afford .

Re: Goldfinger nachos big brother

Yeah thats the same motor , it looked like hell before but the motor was actually a low mile Target master motor that was parked and left to sit in a field. the compression was good and just needed a face lift.

That awesome Eric hooked you up. I really like how you are keeping with a SBC. What are your plans to the front suspension? Can we see some pictures of the other side of the engine? I think I will be going back to ram horns manifolds.
