Re: Low 72 progress pics...
Kyle,
So the aired up pics are basically 8 1/2" up and the aired out shot has the front frame corner behind the suspension hoop sitting on the ground? I'd love to see it at ride height. You planning on running it at 5" or 6"? It seems I remember your tires are 255/40 fronts and 295or 275/40 rears. Is that right? I'm getting ready to place my order with Nathan so I want to make sure of everything so I can tell him the right stuff. Thanks, Jim

wow.......i think something like this would put me into depression. One thing about projects is the amount of setbacks can be numerous......but's that part's of the learning curve, patience.

Re: Low 72 progress pics...
Sorry for your misfortune. Patriot will warrant the heads but not the damage. On the upside, stock pistons can be had for a song- unless you just want to drop in a new motor. Sounds like a good excuse to build a 408 stroker with the L92/L76 setup to me...
I have a small favor to ask: Do you have or could you possibly take a pic or two of how you have the rear seat mounted? I have a set of these same seats and was wondering how you got them to work. Thanks and good luck -Chris

Re: Low 72 progress pics...
Dude sux but glad to hear you are going to get the bodywork done and painted. Let us know how it works out. Did you get to try it with the zo6 cam? I am thinking about doing the same thing with my 5.3.

Re: Low 72 progress pics...
Remember if you do iron 6.0 no problem...But if you go aluminum you need to change the covers, and get all the electrical conectors to swap it to a LS2. The heads are an easy fix and you dont need to do anything to the short block if it didnt break the piston or damage a ring land which it doesnt look as if it did...I would get a new seat installed and a valve job and throw it back together...

Re: Low 72 progress pics...
What a beautiful Blazer! I also love your '62. Keep up the build, as said before, it will all be worth it in the end. Nathan has fabricated a piece of art in your Blazer. I can't wait to see it completed.

Re: Low 72 progress pics...
Kyle, I didn't realize that your blazer was originally a 4X4, I'll have to get Nathan on mine when I gather some cash. Thank your parents again for the help with the templates, they are awesome (referring to your parents not the templates).
