My thoughts exactly...you just beat me to it.

I agree, I'm not getting much interest from the 67-72 crowd so I'm going to see what else it might fit
Interested in the one piece w/ the bezels to screw into also...and also think that you will find the market will open up once some of these are installed and show up in rides on the boards...

A billet ignition bezel would be crazy! But given the amount of machining needed.....crazy expensive sounds more like it.

Oh- I'm sure there's plenty of interest in your kick-a$$ stuff, myself included. I suspect that there are alot of folks on here like me who've had a big chunk of their disposable income chewed up by the rising costs of everything. I swear I'll get a paypal out to you in the next couple weeks for at least a radio bezel and hopefully a heater bezel too (if the allowance will cover it).

Thanks for your great products and patience.

I say concentrate on the origonal idea, then work it outward if it takes off. And it looks like it is.

A full key, lighter, heater bezal would be cool, and for what i've seen on the billet hood hinge price, it might be crazy expensive. BUt will cool.

Re: Billet Radio Plate for cut dash...opinions?

Just an update for those who ordered, the parts are being machined and I should have them mid next week. I should be able to finish them up and ship them out by the end of the weekend.

For those who are still interested, I purchased 50 radio plates and only 10 of them are spoken for, so let me know if you are interested.

Excellent, thanks.

I would be interested in a "combo" plate for the bottom HVAC hole.

Count me in for a polished radio bezel. Is that $82.00 with shipping? What other methods of payment will you accept besides paypal?

Re: Billet Radio Plate for cut dash...opinions?

Can you give me the dimensions of the piece? Outside dimensions and the inside dimensions. The PO really hacked the opening for the radio and wondering if it will cover the entire opening. Thanks again.

Re: Billet Radio Plate for cut dash...opinions?

It completely covers the inner indented section (the section that has been cut), but you will need sheetmetal for bolts that are 3/8" inward from the sides. Take a look at my quick sketch, the yellow dots represent the bolts on the back side. In order to drill, you need at least 3/8" from the inner indented edge (green line), 1/2" would be better. Does that make sense?

If the PO cut this far out then he was a moron because that is way too big for a stereo! But...I'm starting to think that most PO's were morons!

Re: Billet Radio Plate for cut dash...opinions?

That helps but my concern was the height. I think PO made the verticle cut too big and i want to make sure it will cover it.
Thanks.

2 questions- Can you make a plate that would go from edge to edge in this entire area with the key hole and cig hole cut out? Can you add the ball milled lines?. I'm thinking just a thin flat plate that I could sandwich the key/cig bezels to.

I'm working on a bezel for this area, but it will need to be more than a flat plate because the cigarette lighter location is recessed back into the dash. I also have to figure out how to attach the ignition bezel.

Re: Billet Radio Plate for cut dash...opinions?

ok, maybe you could mock it up so it fits right to the diameter of the bezels so they would not need removing. if it's thin, double sided tape would hold it.
